2008:
I have thoroughly enjoyed choreographing, teaching and performing burlesque! However this year I am taking a break
from the dancing side of Miss Kitka's House of Burlesque so that I can finish my thesis! I am still involved in
burlesque however, as the photographer! And I am still making custom pasties ;)
I am also available for pinup, burlesque, glamour, boudoir, portrait, maternity, newborn, performance, and pet photography!

I'm a 28 year old Psychologist finishing my postgrad studies.
One of my passions is dancing! I started dancing at age 7, starting with classical ballet and jazz ballet for two
years. Finally, in my twenties I dabbled in 50's Rock'n Roll, jazz ballet, ballroom, sampled cabaret, and
finally settled on Ceroc and Street Latin for a few years. After this I moved into Burlesque in mid 2005 and there
I have stayed. I am also learning bellydancing and look forward to bringing some of these skills into my burlesque dances
- i shall name it 'bellyesque'! Have dabbled in sword work and isis wings.
My erratic dance involvement is due to having a rare muscle disability (McArdles Disease) that causes pain on exercise.
It greatly impacts my level of participation in dancing. Burlesque has been a God send to me as it is a style that is
not as vigourous as other styles, and the scope for creativity which it allows helps me to work within my limits.
